A solid Conditioner Bar available in two hair types and two scent options. Both Conditioner Bars are formulated with Cocoa Butter to repair and strengthen hair, Abyssinian Oil to soften and repair hair, and Hydrolyzed Silk Protein extracted from silk fibers for elasticity and shine.
The Coarse Hair Conditioner Bar also has Castor Oil to soften and moisturize, and Coconut Oil to condition and protect the hair shaft.
The Fine Hair Conditioner Bar has Mango Butter to strengthen and moisturize, and Olive Oil to detangle and minimize frizz.
Both Conditioner Bars come in Naked (unscented) and Refresh (an essential oil blend of Lavender, Thyme, Tea Tree, Lemongrass, Cedarwood, Rosemary, and Peppermint).
To use: Wet the bar and your hands and apply to wet hair and/or glide the bar directly on damp hair. Massage in. Leave on for a few minutes. Rinse well. Let the bar dry well between uses.
2 oz.
Other Ingredients: BTMS-25 (detangles & emulsifies), Cetyl Alcohol (softens & lubricates), DL-Panthenol (seals & nourishes), Phenoxyethanol & Sorbic Acid (lowers pH & preserves).
Things to note: We strive to use the most natural products as possible. We never add an ingredient unless it is necessary.
BTMS-25 was chosen for this product over BTMS-50 for a couple reasons. First, it is a natural conditioning agent derived from rapeseed whereas BTMS-50 contains a petroleum derivative.
Cetyl Alcohol is a fatty alcohol, not to be confused with a drying alcohol, so it will soften your hair, not dry it out as we often think with the word "alcohol".
DL-Panthenol is derived from rice and is absorbed readily through our skin and converted to Vitamin B5, a natural constituent of healthy hair and present in all living cells. This helps to seal hair cuticles and prevent splitting and fraying. This product is a humectant, which means it draws moisture.
Phenoxyethanol & Sorbic Acid are paraben-free and act as a preservative and to lower the pH. We need these ingredients in the conditioner bar so the product does not mold due to the wet environment it is used in. Because bar soap naturally has a higher pH, it will not allow mold to grow, but the conditioner bar is designed to have a lower pH to brings the pH of your hair back to balanced. Phenoxyethanol is naturally found in green tea and Sorbic Acid is a natural preservative.
